Hi Uncle Howard,
It's me, Quincy's friend. I've just come home for the evening from Aunt Charity's home and looked up your website. I have spent some time reading "letters from the heart" and I thank you for your honesty and sincerity in your writing. I look forward to seeing you again soon, God Willing. I am praying for you and your family during this time.

Dear cousin Howard,
How wonderful to find you in this vast place we call the internet.. Dad & I talked with your father today, and it was such a blessing to hear his voice. I have added your website to our Family Tree site so others may share in the joy of knowing you and the family. Hope to hear from you when you have the time; although that may be never. [laugh] It is such a pleasure to walk down memory lane through some of the photos you have here, for they are all fond and good memories of you and the family when you lived in Youngstown. May you always walk in beauty and know peace within along your many journeys of life. Continued Success in all that you do!

Love your music and have for years! Love what you did with Larnell Harris and so many others as well as your own project. There as a song I believe you wrote for the "Doer's Convetion" with Pastor Ed Turner a few years ago, called, "All Power And Dominion and My Authority", ithas been a blessing to me. I need to thank you for allowing God to use you. I also loved, your arrangement of "Hallowed Be Thy Name".

It is admirable to know that your mind fulfilled with peace and you spread that special feeling to the human being from the pure source of the centre of your body. Please keep doing this good deed. I rejoice in your merit.

Dear Howard, I hope this email finds you in the very best of health. I don't know why you've been on my mind so much this week but I've followed through and found your website. I hope you don't mind me contacting you again after all these years but I really wanted to thank you for your kindness and support back in Birmingham all those years ago. You may never understand but your songs and total musicality have been a profound inspiration and continue to be till today. We're older and also wiser and I know it is much better to show honour and love while we can. If you have time a reply email message would be amazing. Please pass on my regards to Tammy who I hope would remember me too. My family remains the same with a son and daughter and lovely Patrick! Until the next time we speak, much love and blessings to you my friend. Audrey

Howard, I first came to see you in 1993 at The Birmingham Jazz Festival in the UK! Your show was fantastic & we followed you all over Birmingham, to Ronnie Scotts, The Paradise Forum, The Victorian Tea Rooms & many other places around Birmingham. I always used to request that you play "What I Say" ,,,,,,I often look back at those days with very fond memories! You may also remember my neighbour Jo & her brother Dean, from King Pleasure & the Biscuit Boys. I look forward to seeing you again somewhere on my travels. Antony

Hope that things are well with you. I have been thinking about all of you, and was able to talk to Charity for a brief moment last night. I plan to make it a lengthier chat later in the week. I am sure that life is very exciting for you living and exploring a country so very different from our own. But you are an international personality and can adapt and embace any situation. Wow! What a blessing I received today from a Ytown friend who'd posted your blog on her FB page. When I saw your name, I had a Stambaugh "flashback"....OMG!!! Thank you for those "moments from the heart!" Of course I cried when I read the one about your mother...I remember some of those names. May God continue to bless you! You & Darius continue to be examples that good things really do come out of Ytown!! So proud to say I remember when!!!

Wise men say, "You must seek in earnest to discover your destiny". But wiser men say, "Your destiny finds you!" And few have the wisdom and courage to both recognize it and sieze the moment when it arrives! My dear brother Howard is such a man. His destiny found him and he has the Grace and conviction to follow it, blessing countless lives around him along the way. Our paths crossed in this life and instantly a bond was formed. A bond deeper than a brother's and one that extends back beyond time and will continue on until together we arrive where we are bound, until all our sojourns are done, we walk as one in purpose, mind and accord. Music expresses the inexpressable and Howard is it's voice, heart and soul! I am honred to both know him and call him my true Brother. "Anumotana boon mak mak Nong Chai" !!!

Hello Howard,
I have been looking for you all over the internet, when I was about 11 or 12 I believe you came to Fresno, CA and ministered at our church, you sang a song called "So Good" that has been in my heart for the last 16 years. Also, I believe at one you attended or were affiliated with Belmont Believers or Victory Christian Fellowship. Please let me know if this is the same Howard McCrary,.

I would be remiss if I did not take the time to thank you for the inspiration "The McCrary" gave me in 1973 at Malone College(university), Canton Ohio. I spent a great deal of my life singing and playing in bars and night clubs; now I play only for God and I'm recording my own CD form home. You were a major influence in my vocal stylization as well as my song writing. I was particularly blessed by the song "I Never Was So Happy". I'd really like to meet someday. I got autographed pictures of the ladies and have thought of you all often. God Bless!

I would like to say hello to Howard and his family, Linda, Charity, Alfred and the rest of the family. Howard I don't know if you remember me, but I am Yusuf's younger sister. We used to go over to your house with our dad (Mr. Labeeb Kharleed) and listen to your gospel music (McCrary 5). We used to have so much fun. Yusuf is living in Marietta, Ga and so are our parents and siblings. Take care and give our love to the family.

Please email me, I would love you hear from you. You are still my son's (Dominic) favorite pianist. He learned everything that you laid down in his keyboard sequencer back when he was 15, of course now he's 20 and has come a long way since then!
